Still no update on release date or pricing

I emailed them yesterday and was told they will be released in early Fall now. I’m losing interest.

Wow. This is bad form: slipping a launch date, not landing on a price, months flying by w/no developments.

I met Antonio Meze & was very impressed by him. He struck me as a smart businessman & gifted headphone designer. Plus the Empyrean was a revelation--so good that it kind of haunts me (even if it launched today @$3K, I really can't afford that).

Hope he reaches out to this & other headphone sites & clears the air.

I didn't think to talk to Antonio Meze at CanJam NY and I kind of regret it now... I am a HUGE fan of the 99Classics and the Neo. Would have liked to tell him that. I am going to RMAF in Oct wishful thinking is that I will get the chance to see him there.

Thanks for sharing this information. Many interesting (revolutionary) headphones are just coming to the market, so anybody with 4k budget for headphones has several choices these days. I hope that one day, when Empyrean headphones will hit the market, they will be at least as good, as big hype is around them right now.

Price, availability, please.

Guys, the Empyrean is an absolutely new and special project for us. Bringing revolutionary technology to the market isn't easy, especially for a small boutique company as ours.

Aside from that, we know we didn't take the role of active speakers in the past few months, but trust us when we say we were very active listeners, trying to take into consideration all of your concerns regarding design, price, sound etc.

Our struggle these days is to bring to life a no-compromise innovative headphone at a competitive price. In order to do so, we ask you for a few months more. We'll get back with more information as soon as we know something certain.

Same is valid for RAI Penta, @audionewbi. It will see light this fall. No news about the final price, but we'll make this wait worth it.

Will you be located in a quiet area? I.e. that the listening experience won't get drowned out by background noise.

The Empyrean is in my top 3 headphones to try, the others being the Final D8000 and Abyss Diana.
All these 3 are in the same price bracket, but the only ones I've so far been able to compare to my current (much loved) HEK V2's were the D8000's, which I was very impressed with, apart from their weight and IMO slightly overdone bass.

I suppose I should also try the Susvara while I'm there, but I've already discounted that one as being too cynically overpriced as well as being very ineffecient.

Regarding delays in release date, this is so normal for any new high end release that I don't think it's worth fussing over. One of the downsides of forum gossip/speculation is when us enthusiasts get over excited about a new model before it's actually ready. In the good ol' days, the new product was released when it was released and nobody knew anything about it until that point.
