I love my Elex's with my Liquid Platinum. My current DAC is a Bifrost2, but I was quite happy with my SMSL SU-8. I have a couple of amps that cost considerably more, but I love that pairing. Same with the Senn HD660's.

Not balanced, but mine sings beautifully driven by the Mojo.

Ordered a set and an extra pair of earpads (while the pads are available). Going to give them a couple days before I start on the Bladerunner 2049 test to see if the drivers are junk. Really worried about the quality control and weight, but the sound seems exactly like what I'm looking for in a headphone.

Great deal. I use mine with the included XLR balanced cable which is a big plus for buying the Elex over the other Focal models which charge extra.

Whether the XLR cable is a plus is debatable considering Focal's terrible QC, at least in my case. Despite careful handling, I had three of these cables fail in roughly a year. Drop replaced the first two under warranty, but since they will not, or cannot, replace just the cable, you need to box up and return the entire package for a new Elex, a PITA. Drop would have replaced the Elex after the third failure, but I was fed up and just got a Periapt XLR cable which still functions perfectly after a couple of years. (TBH, the Elex does not get heavy use since I got a ZMF Aeolus last year.)
