Can anyone advise between these two?
 
I thought I had decided on the Shanling - it's within my price range and I can get it here in New Zealand - until I came across the Matrix M-stage which seems like it may be better for the Akg 70x. 
 
The Matrix is slightly more expensive but with with free postage it works out the same (postage of $US50 for Shanling).

the Matrix works very well with my 701 in fact I owned the Shanling PH 100 and although more powerful it was not as resolving of detail with the 701. I can recommend the Matrix over the Shanling
