I need a Mikros90 to:
1- open
2- open the hole
3- break the hole
4- expose WHOLE rear of driver to the inside cup(!)
5- drill some holes around driver (air pressure & bass reflex)
6- replace stock pads for Senn hd25 pads..
7- new internal material damping. .
8- fairy dust..

Missed out on dam sale..
Until I have another Mikros90, it remains just an idea...
:p

Ftfy!

LOL

Mod your 90s all you want...but keep in mind that incorrectly modding your headphones can lead to impotence (at least that is what a reliable source once told me).

Best 2015 wishes fellow mikronauts!

Dunno why but I refrained from contacting Martin Logan about asking them to replace my right ear pad whose seam bust on me, no way of holding its inner foam anymore.

Been for quite some months now that I was using the ear pads from my ATH-ES7, which by the way are too big so they wobble, and aren't comfortable for prolonged use.

I refuse to cannibalize the pads from my 2nd Mikros 90 (box still sealed), in hopes I find someone 'worthy' of a Mikronautical ascension gift; basically anyone that likes music and doesn't refrain from headcans.

Anyhow, while trying to read up backwards on the hundred pages I missed here since my last time (trying to find out if Pata posted Ted UPOCC cable pics lmao), stumbled upon someone asking for IEMs and a reply mentioning "Tenore" which lead me to a cascade of threads/posts that ended with me ordering the Zero Audio Duoza

. I'm still getting acquainted with it, but so far it gives me the pleasure of giving the life out of some music I just could never get out of with my Mikros (mainly rock genres). Granted that sadly there seems to be a variance in the SQ of the different Mikros 90 units, maybe mine wasn't just as good, can't know until I open my 2nd unit.

I ought to contact ML about my pads though, them Mikros do deserve that to say the least.

Cagin, I'm sorry to hear about your mikros. Not so sorry about what you're saying about the Douza's though since mine will be in my ears imminently :)
