I need some good travel headphones and I really like what I hear about these two. I listen to mostly rock with some hip hop and I was wondering which one would be better. My main priority is comfort, and if you have any other suggestions let me hear them.

these sound very different- the beyer dt660 is very very bright with a ton of emphasis on the highs, whereas the m50 is a slightly v shapred eq curve with bass emphasis

Go for the M50's if you're into hip-hop.
There's plenty of bass and drum beats sound great.
