Don’t encourage and get me started guys, he’s so afraid of losing he’s taking out the USPS to curb mail in voting and next he’ll try to figure a nation wide system for vote caging!

Let me get back on track or at least something from the builder  Now it may just be me (Go Figure) but I think this is just a sweet, simple and an awesome (Purrrrrdy) pairing

Almost always, the pairing of the A4 with Wolfson DAC is magical!

I reckon the vocals must be splendid with that setup?

Though if he just meant "current pricing" as in the clearing out A6 price but majority are still $310 and a few are in the lower $200's to $279. But shouldn't be comparing apples to oranges instead of release price of each which is apples to apples.

That’s exactly what I meant.

Someone asked me about the A6 vs A7 for a possible purchase in today's market so I thought today's pricing was relevant

OMG. This is bringing me back to my ipod and nano dismenberment days.

LOL, even as much as I get annoyed with Apple they still have one of the best UI's for me  I have like 3 Touches, one shuffle and 3 maybe four old iPhones 4 & 6's with music =. Paired with a ES100 or BTR3K they are still good companions:wink: Dug up another:grin:

I wonder if LZ is looking at using “exotics” like planar magnetic or electrostatics, etc. Seems to be the flavor of the moment.
I would say piezo drivers are pretty exotic too :joy:

@peter123 Out of curiousity, the next time you get in contact with them, could you ask them if the LZ A7 still has a 4-way crossover like the LZ A6? I just noticed this days ago in the manual, which surprised me for the price given.

Yes. 7-unit 4-way this time.

1 DD (liquid crystal polymer diaphragms) for low frequency + 2 BA (Knowles) for intermediate frequency + 2 BA (Knowles) for high frequency + 2 Piezoelectric Ceramic Drivers (7-layer piezoelectric parallel) for UHF
