Thanks mate ,  i already had read that review,  actually I want to know how pm4 perform against A4 , ,

No I haven't and I've got no idea when I will either. I did spend a couple of hours with the PM4 yesterday though (managed to fit the dampened gold filter on them, so that I at least could sit still and listen to them, I liked them better than the stock ones). I'm pretty sure both my earpieces sound identical and because of that probably also correct despite the loose filter. I wouldn't say that they're bad but there's something weird in the midrange that makes it sound very two dimensional (or even hollow) occasionally. It's hard to really put a finger on exactly what it is without spending more time with them but something definitely sounds off. Maybe they're worth $100, maybe not (for example I easily prefer the Moni One and PMV-A01 MK2 over them) but they're certainly not anywhere near the A4 in overall performance. To me they're just average (please bear in mind that there might be something wrong with the sound from one of the earpieces although I don't think so).

I hope this helps

You definitely get a issue/defect which is seems more common with pm4 besides their physical issues ( broken filters or connectors)  they have fuzzy/hollow mid range so many peoples are being talking about this issue even their units are physically perfect .

I find it highly unlikely that both earpieces should have the same fault so I think they're supposed to sound like this but that people sensitive to certain frequencies, and/or having different ear anatomy are bothered with it and other are not.

In comparison to the A4 the overall signature of the A4 is fuller and smoother and they outperform the PM4 in every single way (bass quality/quantity, soundstage in all directions, coherency and overall fidelity), they're seriously not on the same level.

That is a great question.  Now that I have the FLC8S in possession, that is my standard against which other units are matched.  Still surprises me how well the LZ-A2 holds up against more expensive units; and suspect the A4 units are even a higher standard based on the comments I am hearing.

I find the same thing. The PM4 for me sounds a bit 2 dimensional and lacks emotion. They're also very finicky with fit and placement in the ears. The A4 outshines them easily imo AND all the filters screw in perfectly....

All the LZ-A3, LZ-A3S,and LZ-A4 have detachable cables the S moniker has been added for Revision to previous models like the LZ-A2 which received the S treatment with the LZ-A2S the S versions have improved sound (subjectively some might not like there tuning for some music over the original) thats why I want to clear up which A3 people are Referring too as there are two versions and they both sound different.

Also since LZ has a trend of coming out with S models of the iem's can it be reasonable to assume that we may see a LZ-A4S in the future?

edited because i cant spell for crap

I doubt it, 'S' iteration is a further dial on a fixed tuned IEM, but this model can be spun and dialed 18+ ways (more if you include tip rolling)

as someone said A4 is the 'sleeper' IEM of 2016....look how fast the PM'x' thread moves vs this thread....they'll catch on soon enough....

You guys are not giving me much hope for the Trinity PM6's that I am hoping to receive by 2019 lol

hahaha same here ,  i am worried about my Hunters even i am sure they will be much better than pm4 but i doubt they will worth their asking price or not so let's see my luck what brings out for me, , ,

If they don't murder the LZ A4 (and I think the chances are slim to none of this happening) then I'm going to be bummed. I would cancel, but now it's 30% cancellation fee! Ugh.

I'm aiming for this weekend for my A4 review :-)

I've settled on red rear filter, black front nozzle. Anyone else like this combination? I understand that it's v-shaped with massive bass and extended treble, but damn if this isn't a blast to listen to. I will admit that I'm a bit overwhelmed with the combinations. For a more neutral sound, do you guys recommend swapping those to black rear, red front? That seems to be a favorite combo of many. Thank you!

Unsubscribed from that mess which is the Trinity Thread. I never liked these almost religious tones in there. When they arrive, they arrive. I'm not expecting anything, really. Probably for the best. Maybe we will be suprised.
Anyway, I do hope that my own A4s arrive in the next days.

Yeah, I should probably pay much less attention to that thread.

I love the A4s. Can't wait to hear your impressions. Maybe by the time my PM6 arrive, I will have tried all the filter combinations LOL

The A4 units if you reverse them on the MMCX cables for over-ear (left unit in right ear and right unit in left ear) sit better than A3/S as the cable goes over then straight down, but the units are angled off to the side ergonomically sitting right at the ear hole.
(Stereo is not reversed BTW)

Yes, you can wear them as they are intended, with the cable angling 45 degrees over to the unit after it goes over the ear, but I just found this way best for my personal preference.

Glad he listened to beta group suggestions to have a detachable cable.

Oh! I thought the A4 couldn't be worn over-ear. Would that affect the horizontal sound stage or the positioning?
