Overall I agree, but I can like ugly and not usable cable for its sound.Weight, handling and comfort also factor in. It doesn't matter how good any piece of audio gear is, if it's uncomfortable or inconvenient to use. People are fickle that way!

yeah I can deal with ugly and stiff cables too, as long as it sounds and pairs well

For my fellow copper lovers.
Option B.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/39452868...ar=663075558529&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
A very nicely put together cable.
It has no chin cinch but I've added a small piece of heat shrink to mine to good effect.
Currently doing wonders on my CFA Honeydew.

In terms of purely build quality, would you say the blackcat or rubycat is better?(better metal connectors, fit and finish etc)? And also cable harmonics

How do we calculate the resistance of the cable ? .. i mean .. if a cable ground measure : 1.2 ohm L: 1.2 ohm and R :1.3 ohm ... And the contact resistance of the multimeter is : 0.6 ohm ...
Is the sum of all contacts minus the resistance of the multi. Considered the total resistance?
OR ..the resistance of one contact minus the multi resistance is the cable resistance ?

XINHS 16core copper & adapter
Not sure if he have more of this one, maybe if one ask. It's good in the hand, will test it later today compared both to ISN C16 and XINHS copper 4core( i guess his best copper)

It's pretty for sure.
Why do so many manufacturers use a straight plug not right angle though?

I believe most want it straight and that's why it's the standard. Probably a cost thing also.

I'm either mobile use or static but either way my phone is my source so I prefer the less obtrusive form of the angled jack.
I can't see the production cost being an issue though. Straight or angled, once the tooling is sorted the cost should be the same.

I have the Graphene varient of that adapter. The Cable itself is like any other Cable from XINHS which is to say that it's good. The connectors however could use some improvement. As you can see in the attached Image, the outer metal cover (which is a finger print magnet) keeps sliding off when I try to detach the adapter. Also the strain relief bit keeps detaching too.XINHS 16core copper & adapter

No other issues with sound, just the cosmetics need some work.

Angled connector wins for strain relief for mobile use! Straight jack out of phone or DAP is way more prone to be subjected to strain at 90 degrees. Pivot of angled plug in socket reduces that. Ditto with side mounted socket in laptop. For inline use like plugging into desktop or dongle DAC, then straight plug is easier to use. Only my opinion (even if anyone who disagrees is categorically wrong).I want angled for when I use my DAP and straight for my dongles or desktop

After having tested for a few hours, I can say that I like it. At first listen going from a good 4 core copper from XINHS, I could hear better note definition in the bass and harder bass impact. Mids and treble seemed the same. But going back after an hour its so close, as the perceived change might be due to less resistance in 16core so the sound is slightly louder.
Maybe I also get my NiceHCK RubyCat before the weekend.

Easily my favourite cable in terms of looks/usability (also sound but heavily depending on synergy)
XINHS 8 core pure silver
It's just so smooth and not tangly and feels premium overall while being very affordable.
