Hi all,

FYI I came across a vendor on Taobao selling TPU cases. Here are a few pics of it from the vendor website and I will post my own when I receive it.

I demoed several headphones at a store using exclusively N8 for at least 2 hours. At this time my only other DAP is the LPGT.

Sound:
Lotoo. I like the N8, but it’s a tad too warm for my liking. Everything else (soundstage, etc.) sounded similar to my ears.

Everything else:
Lotoo again. So much more portable. So much more sexier. The Lotoo OS is a big win too. I like the speed and simplicity of it.

Thanks, that is very useful to me. Did you use eq/pmeq on the daps?

At that point in time, no. In fact I prefer to not use EQ at all.

I only turned on XRC on the Lotoo just recently and is blown away by it. Everything just gets much better but still sounding "normal".

A little bit of slow rock, hip hop, deep house, but mostly jazz.

As far as IEMs go, I trust 64’s offering all the way. Fourte Noir and U18t are on my daily rotation.

Have you ever tried a wm1z or wm1a?

Both are great devices and sound wise if I could own only one I may have bought the N8, that said the LPGT appeared to be overall a better package. Also using almost any of my daps combined with my WA8 I achieve a better result than the N8 as standalone device and the N8 itself is more transportable than portable in my view.

Cool cheers, i also see N6ii and dx220 TPU :L3000:
Yes and I think if you ask them for other more exotic daps they may do it also. Indeed I ordered both for LPGT and R2RK at the same time and before that they only posted drawings of the cases for each of these devices. After I got my cases shipped, they started to post pictures. Now the big question is what will the finished product look like when I receive it.

It also seems it comes with screen protector and anti-dust plug for the jacks but that I am not sure, just telling by the pictures on the website.
