It works, but not as good as usb out of sp1km for example.
May be because PMEQ can affect USB out too on LPGT.

What do you mean no usb out? It was implemented long time ago, even though they still call it "beta". Works fine.

Must have been after 1.1.1.5, as when I had it there wasn't DAC and USB out mode. Anyway is great to read is working fine. Time to reconsider.

I suppose we will keep a minimun service, the same we currently have with bus and train transport. Anyway, I still have three weeks left to return it to Amazon and ask for a refund.

This is a very interesting product, does it have also Bluetooth? I was considering to buy the Fiio BTR5 but if the S1 can be used as Bluetooth Dac then I’m sold, especially most of my cables have 4.4mm terminations

This is USB-C dongle, not wireless. 4.4mm balanced and 3.5mm SE. And it will have ATE dsp effects built in. Lotoo was sharing it on their social media to let everyone know that S1 will debut with new ATE presets for gaming and movies. Hopefully, the next LPGT and PAW6k fw updates will include these ATE presets as well. Links with additional S1 info were posted here last year.

I hope next fw update for lpgt will add AirPlay for using it as WiFi receiver for tidal from my iPhone
