Lotoo Paw 6000 (2019)

Still on the fence to get it... PMEQ/ATE seem to be very useful features, even though I hardly EQs. No, my main concern, which might sound odd, is the PAW 6000 playing files gapless? I mean absolute perfect gapless playback. I have some electronic mixes that cannot be enjoyed otherwise. Thanks for your help guys

Yeah I can't help you there, there is a gapless option on it but as far as is it going to work with your specific mixes I think you would be better off going somewhere to demo it. The gapless option is just off and on I know some DAPS you can alter it a bit.

Ok, thanks anyway.

In case anybody is interested, I have put up my Cayin N6ii for sale (come with Dignis Scalia light brown leather case). Posting here since I am aware there was a few of you debating between the Paw 6000 and N6ii before. As for me, I am jumping on the Lotoo Bandwagon! Priority to local Singaporeans (because I am currently here and prefer to deal locally). Cheers!

Hey guys, went to test out the 6000 today at local dealer and it doesn't want to read my Lexar 512 GB card. Every time I plug the card in, it goes ballistic yellow on the screen. Has anybody encountered this with 512GB card? My 256GB seems fine with it. Same situation with the Paw Gold Touch. Make me wonder whether it is my card, Lexar, or the DAP...

Since the 512 GB card does it in two different Daps and the 256 GB card works in both, I would think the problem is with the card.

FiiO also had issues with the 512GB Lexar cards in the M11 and it was why they removed the second card slot with the M11 Pro, so it might be something specific to large capacity Lexar cards.

Did you try a different brand 512GB micro SD card and the 6000 reads fine? If that is the case, I might have to buy a Samsung or Sandisk urghh

Sorry, I don't have 512GB cards to try. I just remembered FiiO reporting the issues they were having with Lexar.

Thanks! Probably this should be a caveat for future Paw 6000 owners to avoid Lexar when using this DAP? I will try my card again in a different dealer tomorrow. As I am planning to purchase this DAP, I really want to make sure. Will report back. In the meantime, can anyone share your "success stories" with a larger capacity micro SD card (512GB and up) with the 6000/Gold Touch?

I have a 512GB Samsung Evo card that works fine with Paw 6000.

Thanks. I think I am cursed with this Lexar card :slight_frown:
