HiFi Headphones and Lotoo are pleased to announce that we will shortly be sending one of our hi-res portable music players, the PAW 5000 on tour for Head-fi'ers to try out and review.

We're looking to arrange a mini tour within the United Kingdom. We would like five volunteers to try the PAW 5000, write a review and then send it on to the next reviewer.

To apply, simply copy, paste and complete the info below in a reply in this thread. We’ll close applications in seven days time and then choose and contact the selected reviewers. I will co-ordinate these tours and will be your point of contact for any questions.

My good friend @Turrican2  has just bought a 5000, he used to own a DX100 and introduced me to that Dap at a headfi meet in London in 2013. I've had it ever since and we've been through thick and thin. It's been back to China twice this year alone! So I'm interested to see why Phil changed. I was at CanJam London and got to listen to the Paw but only for a very short time and it would be good to tell people what I thought about it with a more serious listen.
My friend @glassmonkey  feels it's time for me to change my Dap to something a little more modern. So it will also be interesting to see whether the newer Daps win over and old clunky one.
Mind you , I get mornings where I feel old and clunky and I get along okay....

Since there were only 5 volunteers, does this mean that we'll all be going on tour? If so:

Professional writer & product enthusiast. Would love to give a full critique review on this item along detailed specs as well. Aside from writing, I would consider a video review as well.

When do we get confirmation?

Tony sent out the PAW 5000 today. I've read the manual, planned out what I want to do for the review, and I'm eagerly awaiting arrival. :)

I'll post when I receive it.

Silly me, I received this beauty last Thursday and have been thoroughly enjoying it so much that I forgot to post that I got it! I've put it through most of the paces. I just need to throw playlists at it tomorrow and make some useful video. I've really enjoyed this pocket wonder and hope that my review leads to lots of people enjoying it.

This will be going out to the next in line, on Thursday via Special Delivery.
