hi people,
this is the first time i'll buy a REAL headphones, one that i may use for years from now. I'm stuck among these four:
Sennheiser 280HD Pro - http://migre.me/9PlNZ (I've heard these got really good sound and GREAT isolation)
Audio-Technica ATH-M50 - http://migre.me/9PlMc (been told that sounds better than the sennheiser, but poor isolation and maybe it'll need an amp)
V-Moda Crossfade LP - http://migre.me/9PlIj (from what i've read, they got an almost-perfect isolation but too much bass, wich fits better for people who listen to electronic music and rap etc - not my case)
Marshall Major - http://migre.me/9PlTu (very divided opinions here - some say they got good isolation and sounds great on-the-go, but other say that these are just another beauty item and are poorly built)
The thing is, I'm not using them for studio monitoring or recording, I just want to listen to good quality music on my laptop (i intend to buy a Fiio or a creative DAC asap) and on my portable player (i'm using my cellphone now, but in a near future i'll buy sansa clip or cowon s9, maybe, that's why I really need a good isolation). I listen to all genres of music, but mainly classic rock, jazz, blues, back-80's pop, some indie stuff etc.
Thanks, and greetings form Brazil!
