Hey guys, I'm here because I hear you are the best around when it comes to audio.  In this case I'm looking to replace my TRITTON AX51 Pro 5.1 which recently has broke.  I am looking for a headset primarily for gaming so a mic is important, it will also be used for some music (basically anything but rap and country) though mainly gaming, and will be used with my X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional.  I have so far been recommended the AD700 and from reading the forums here it seems to be popular.  The only thing that worries me about the AD700 is it being stereo and the fact that I'll need to get some sort of clip on or stand up mic, and my experience with those types of mics has so far been bad.  So does anyone have another headset to recommend or perhaps a mic that will work well with the AD700?  My budget in total is $200.

Thanks guys.

PS
This is the mic that was recommended to me but from what I have seen it seems to be very sensitive and I don't want my computer fans to be overpowering my voice.  http://www.amazon.com/Zalman-Microphone-Zm-Mic1-Sensitivity-Headphone/dp/B00029MTMQ

You could try out the Zalman mic and return it a week later. That's what I would do.

Honestly I'm not impressed with my own AD700s which I got last month, but maybe I'm not using them for the right games or something. Humm.

Is this for PC or console?

PC360 seems like a good choice if you want a headSET.

I don't recommend the Zalman mic based of personal experience.

This is purely for PC.  Looking over those posts and what your mentioning about the clip on mic I definitely have more looking around to do.  If you have any other recommendations let me know, for now I'll be looking over these posts for something else.
