I currently have

ALO Modified Ultrasone HFI-780 With 18AWG Cryo cable

and

Audio-Technica ATH-M50

Both are wonderful. I'm looking for suggestions to add to the collection. My music taste is primarily Classic Rock, Easy Listening, Island Music, and Classical. I like good bass. I use a  HeFei XiangSheng  Sweet Peach-FU50 Single Ended tube Amp+USB+MP3+DAC+headphone amp  WITH sOVI  s   ssssss
Soviet GU 50 tubes. My source is a 5.5 gen iMod with ALO's LOD rca cable. I have smaller portable amps too such as ALO's Rx MK II and iBasso D4 Mamba. Really I don't need anything, but this is a fun hobby. There are hundreds of headphones out there. Any recommendations, experience, opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Have you considered a Sennheiser HD-600? You might find it a good fiy with your musical tastes. They turn up around $200 used - one of the best values on the market. Read a few reviews and give it some thought.

Do you have a budget in mind?

Budget is open. Of course I don't want to over spend, but I don't mind laying out the cash for the wow effect :)

You could look at the RS1. I'm really enjoying the pair I have now. Much smoother treble than some of the 'lower' end models. I don't have too much Grado experience beyond that though.

The HD600 and HD650 would be worth a peek as well as something in the Beyerdynamic lineup like a DT880/600 or similar.

Thanks guys. I'm reading a lot of really good reviews for the Denon D7000. I may give those a shot.

If you like the sound you get when you push the 60Hz bar +15dB upwards, these ridiculous Denons might serve you well

I pulled the trigger on a pair of Beyer DT770 600 ohm. I want to try and stick to closed back as to not disturb the wife. I read so many reviews last night and at the price point these seemed the logical purchase. I will certainly burn em in and listen to some favorite tunes. I'll try to post my findings as soon as I can. Thanks evryone

Much better choice than the Denon IMO.
