I don't think so
the UE6000 started at 199 and ended 39 €! Logitech didn't made money I think... But could be that this cheap plastic costs even less for them

Not cheap looking or feeling at all.
Try to think of this as a Sennheiser hd650, closed of course and easier to drive.
I run this headphone from my phone. With volume at 3/4 it's plenty full.
Read the review here if you haven't already http://www.innerfidelity.com/content/surprisingly-good-logitec-ue6000-and-ue9000
noise cancelling in my opinion is not so great but better than nothing. You might be pleased at how good it works.
Yes, UE6000 in passive mode is more balanced than M100. Which is precisely why I prefer M100...I prefer a fun headphone (when I use the UE6000, I amp/EQ it to be more like the M100 anyway). For me, M100 is a clear upgrade to UE6000 (particularly if listening to the UE6000 in active mode, or passive with bass boost amp).
Have you heard the XS? I would think XS would be an upgrade for balanced (passive) UE6000 listener?
i would hope the $300 m100 would be an upgrade. ive thought about picking up some m100's but i think i'd be disappointed in the "upgrade" value i'd get with the price difference.
UE6000s arrived.
Wow. These were 57 bucks?!
Further impressions to follow.
UE 6000 came this week, spent a few hours warming them up and so far have been pleased with the sound (NC off), only gripe is it is a little strong on the bass.
I have found the fit a little troublesome and for that reason am toying with sending them back, but loath to as no idea what else to order (especially at £50!).
Has anyone else found the headband padding uncormfortable and if so has this improved over time?
I have found the overal "clamp" of the earpad to be a little loose and the headset moves a little as i move my head.
