[Listing] Canadian Companies/Retailers

US retailers can not ship Grado headphones into Canada. You have to buy it from an authorized Canadian dealer at stupidly jacked up priced.

There are a couple places that will ship them to Canada.

J&R only ships to Canada by UPS Worldwide Express which is over $40.

Stereotype does have a competitive price on the iGrados and the 80s are only ~$20 over when you take shipping into consideration.

B-Quiet in Alberta sells dynamat and various other sound damping materials that are useful for modding headphones (and cars). They have a nice little samples package for cheap, which by itself is more than enough for a Grado mod. Need more than that for a T50RP mod though. I didn't need 12 sq. ft of the stuff, so I emailed them and they gladly let me buy in smaller quantities.

These guys have alot of pro audio equipment and are based in Montreal I think, I don't have any experience buying from them though. Also, don't forget to change the currency in the top right corner.

Does anyone know any retailers where I might be able to get a Fiio e7/e9?

I've dealt with the Studio Economik people a couple times, and they are great.  They have slightly odd store practices (they phone you to confirm orders), but they are very pleasant and--so far--reliable.

Came across this in the high end forum: http://resonessencelabs.com/
Way out of reach for most of us, but hey it's another Canadian maker.

I'm not sure whether you want to add these guys or not but I came across their site, no experience with them, and they don't have the biggest collection because they deal with general electronics, heres their link to headphones.

I found another Canadian audio equipment. They have some Grado (SR60i and 80i and 225i), they are considered cheap for Canadians. They also have some amplifers, earbuds and a few other headphones. Did I mention they have a flat rate of $9.99 for shipping charges regardless of what province you live in?

Though it's unclear whether they are the 770 or 880/990 ones.

If you read the listing it's actually crystal clear which models the replacement pads are for https://www.planetofsounddistribution.com/products/index.php?m=16&prp=4
