I paid over $2100 for that? What an utter disappointment

Ouch @Shawnb , ‘luckily’ I went with the base IGG model and the later ‘not so voluntary’ upgrades.

At this stage of all of this debacle, I’m not going to complain about the looks or anything - I would just count myself very ‘lucky’ to receive anything for moneys paid and a very frustrating 6 years and counting.

well, stuck limo told us he had received 3 "points" back in May 2020 that showed positive progress with the Geek Wave, but he was unable to share them with the public... I guess this new chassis might be one of them, but if so, kind of disappointing since this project has been going on for 6+ years.... Hey stuck limo, if you are still looking in and no longer with LH Labs or Larry, and you haven't signed an NDA, why don't you consider sharing the 3 points you know with us?

I agree. I don't think that there will be many that get through this process satisfied or happy. But, if If I can get s fully functional DAP that sounds good and actually works properly, (something that has not happened with the rest of their gear), well, that has to be far better than never getting anything. Optimal, no, but something has to be better than nothing.

Of course it will not make up for the huge PIA that this process has been and the money lost. But....

Sure and another 8 to 10% compounded interest had the money been invested wisely. No possible way to get equal value for the loss of funds. But I still think something is better than nothing. Not saying that anything we may receive at some point will make the ordeal "worth" it.

Essentially nothing...more pics and promises. From anger to amusing.

Yep. How many different ”prototypes” have we seen already? If they were really producing anything, I’d tell them to stick to a design and finish it.

Atleast make a video of the player in action, if you want any credibility. Show us the circuit board in the player and power it on. These pics were as tangible as any of the CAD images they have shown so far, which anyone could whip up in ten minutes.

What a crappy-looking chassis. It looks like cheap, die-cast metal. The "large volume knob" is obviously because you can't use the type of volume knob that was in the CNC chassis announced a year ago, or should it have been this one, or this one?

Regardless, as I said before, unless the announcement is that the device is actually going into production, with stuff coming off an assembly line, this update means nothing.

He doesn't have any money to make it. If he had, he probably could have just have a company like Hiby make it for him, with his own DAC and audio circuit and be done long ago.
