Oh no they never fixed it. I just finally decided to remove the top to take a picture. Was more of a comment of how empty it is and still cost $2500+ for nothing.
Still doesn't work well if at all.

If you have a problem with this then you had better not open up ANY equipment that you buy. Most boxes are largely empty space. It's not about the fill percentage, it's about whatever parts used and the design details. Though, I will admit that this kind of view can be disappointing even when you expect to see it.

Go ahead, tell us that you have never seen anything like this before. Righteous indignation indeed.

Any indignation directed at LHL is very righteous indeed. If you have a problem with that then you're in the wrong thread.
Go ahead, tell me what I can and can't be upset over.

****ing LHL. Sent in my Oscar's for repair and the one iem thar was repaired plays at 10% volume of the other one.
😡
And of course them are blaming the cable and not them, yet works fine with other IEM's.

Hey, this thread popping back up reminded me of something I've been wanting to ask. Has anyone here actually tried LH's flagship DaVinci DAC? If so, which iteration and how'd you like it? Any impressions or thoughts would be cool. Obviously, given the company's track record, I'd never consider purchasing a DAC from them, especially one this expensive, but I'm super curious about how it holds up since the company claims it's basically the best of the best.

I had forgotten about falling for this scam until I watched a youtube video about a scam bicycle and it all came back to me.

I wonder what Larry decided to do with my money?
Yeah, curious what he did with mine too!

Gets me sad again thinking about it...

Yes, Doc, it definitely is sad. I still use my Pulse X Infinity to feed a headphone amp.

At least someone seems to have gotten their investment's worth out of their purchase. Most posts I see about LH gear here and there have been about never getting it or it burning out years ago so it's kinda cool to see one still up and running. Do you feel like it still stacks to newer DACs in sound/performance?

The DAC still sounds very good but, no, I did not receive products for $$K so my entire investment far exceeded what I received in actual products. No names shall be mentioned, they know who they are and they obviously took in more money than they produced product for. They may have done some R&D for the undelivered product and they may even have mismanaged the financials and allocated to projects/products that weren't part of the crowdfunding effort. We'll never know. Unfortunately, with crowdfunding, that is the risk you take and you have NO legal recourse. I will never crowdfund again.
