Light Harmonic Geek Wave

I hear you and share your concern. If the Geek Wave campaign fails, I will actively support any legal action that can be taken. I don't invest in Indiegogo campaigns any longer because I have had three of them fail, Indiegogo has made it clear they will not intervene in any way to support the consumers who get ripped off by fraudulent campaigns.

One thing nice that keeps my hopes is that GO2A and GO+ are getting rave reviews. If the sound is better or equal, then I am still good.

And yes it kinds of worries me. That this will not be unique anymore (iBasso will be releasing its DX200).

It is a worry, but worrying doesn't really help much. And it is upsetting, but LH bashing doesn't do much either (it may actually hurt the company, and make the completion of the promised projects more likely to fail).
So, I'm just keeping my fingers crossed, loving my Pono in the meantime (considering getting a back up Pono, as I have no clue when the Wave will come, and my heavily used black Pono is starting to show signs of age and abuse).

Pono as portable
Geek Out Special Edition v1 for home/PC (into MicroZOTL2 or Liquid Carbon)
Actually doing OK in the interim myself...
Why did I need this stuff...?

With all the new DAPs out there, I have to say the Wave's prototype looks years behind. Even the $179 Opius #11 on Massdrop from the pictures looks as good as the Wave.

While the Opus 11 specs do look good, it is only a DAC/Amp for smartphones similar to the GO V2+

The joke is on us and it isn't funny, at all. So the Wave has a lame update. So what? Look at the Vi. No update for 6 months. Updates meen nothing anymore. Larry was on an extended trip and apparently didn't have access to a computer or phone the whole time. Otherwise why wait months for vague updates? Deliver. Then we'll talk.
