They're still around... Still selling stuff. If they were going to default on this stuff, I'd expect they would have closed their doors and headed for Mexico by now. Still hopeful (but as bummed by the wait and associated issues as anyone).

While I agree with this, I can only hope that last part is wrong. I would like to get something for the in excess of $1K that I have into this. Not to mention the solid state HPA that looks like it may never happen at all.

I'm still confident we'll get something, and that it will be a solid DAP (although probably still buggy to start). When we will get it is another question! Cheers

My Bad, I cut and pasted the wrong item!  Thanks for pointing that out Michael!

Yeah...there was a perk to upgrade to the 9018AQ2M (which is now called 9028).
Perk price was $22.

Another perk some of us had paid for which will now be offered for all. Which perk will follow next?

Btw...don't understand the fuzz about the m.2 SATA for "Everyone" in the current IGG update.
I thought it was confirmed earlier that even the GW64 will get this possibility. No?

The GW64 will have the M.2 SATA slot/port but it will be empty, not be populated with a drive.  You can add your own drive later.

But this is no "news" since this has been confirmed by Larry in July last year.

Attached a screenshot I took on Sep 22 which shows that the topic was discussed two months earlier.

i'm quite sure a number of people missed larry's reply to your post on the indiegogo forum.  i totally get why people are pissed off about the wave in general.  i am too.  but why be pissed off that a general update included additional (and more visible) confirmation of a good thing that you, personally, already happened to know?

.... because it's old which is known to lots of people and now being sold as a new top story.

We are turning in circles. I don't see the progress at all from 6 months ago. Maybe because I'm too long involved in this campaign and just being tired of those crappy "news".

meh, i didn't see it like that.  i'd definitely rather they answer the FAQs (and i have seen that one pop up repeatedly in this very thread) unambiguously and in an official post rather than rely on scattered responses inline on the indiegogo forums.  this was a handful of words in one bulletpoint of a list in one of two posts they just made-- and it directly addressed a common concern.  again, there are reasons to be pissed-- but if this is one to you, it seems like you could definitely benefit from taking a step back.

personally, i'd much rather that they list EVERYTHING that has been settled in as much detail as possible via the product page or news posts.  don't give a damn about how many times it has been said, especially as things keep changing.  give me information, preferably in one spot, and keep it up to date.  that's the best thing they can do until i finally get my wave in my hands.

and, in the meantime, i will reserve my anger for their _lack_ of communication, rather than them occasionally repeating themselves.

Fact #1: Larry´s confirmation - 6 months ago - was done in public (IGG) hence a lot of people were already aware of it. I don´t see any progress since then when i read the current update.

Fact #2: LHL information were and are still scattered on various sites/sources (posts on IGG/Headfi, IGG updates; thru tickets). Same old story..one needs to look up those site/threads to get the latest info. There is no such "one source for all info". This has been addressed various times but nothing has changed.

Fact #3: LHL´s lack of project managements skills resulting in nebulous shipping announcements is one of a kind. How many times have we received an update with new shipping dates? I haven´t counted anymore but I´m pretty sure all devices should have been delivered years ago.

Fact #4: Worst thing is that IGG supports this fair-tale bull****. Even you show them what went wrong with the LHL campaigns (wrongly advertised perks, no regular status updates...) they do crap.

Based on all above...Yes, I´m pissed!

again, you're right to be pissed at lhl and the project.  i am too.  truly not sure how many more times/ways i can say that.  but wielding it like a shotgun and just blasting it at whatever moves does no one any good.  the "update" was not sufficient communication.  but it WAS something.  i was simply encouraging you to take aim at the real issues-- the things it *didn't* say, the slipping timelines, the broken promises, etc, rather than the few somewhat useful/interesting (at least to some people) things it *did* say.  we want them to post/communicate more and better.  you are doing the opposite of encouraging that.

maybe you're too angry to listen to a perspective like that.  but i figured i'd try anyway.  carry on.

I was once at your stage ;-)
But after pointing (also done by others) LHL over and over again to the topics which should be improved (you named some of them) resulting in the same "mistakes" I gave up.

Pls feel free to put me out of this misery and buy my Wave and Source ;-)
Then I`m done with LHL and IGG.
