No piano mirror black? Would love to see a headphone which is finished like those beautiful old (VERY expensive) black mirror like pianos

Yeah...and they were expensive for a reason.

I'm often inspired by nature and music and the old piano black finish is something I would like to offer but it's extremely work intensive. My grandfather hated and adored that finish. He knew how to get it done the old school way too.

Oh man, I'm really feeling that solemn blue finish. That being said, I'm happy I'll be enjoying my pair with the Suji finish for a long while before anyone gets their hands on a solemn blue.

The pictures... they're gone! I think if LFF were to make a new pair of headphones in the future, i'd probably go for the solemn blue.

Weird. something funny must have happened. I saved the pictures so I could view them on my calibrated monitor later:

This one was called Deadwood. I believe it was a special process for creating that aged look, then it was waxed and sealed so it looks like an awesome, worn, piece of wood while still being really sturdy.

This finish was called ox blood I think. The red is super deep, almost the color of blood. It's a pretty classy color in my opinion.

And finally, Solemn Blue, my favorite of the bunch. This one took three passes before waxing and sealed I think to get all those different blues just right.

The second one is called Hemo, with a drop of the maker's blood.

Only on that shot though...

The actual headphone is blood free.

So I received a very pleasant package from Luis today...

I apologize in advance for the picture quality...

Yeah...That's a big box. Luis definitely wasn't kidding when he said it was a big package...

The very lovely box that is included with the Enigma.

The Enigmas in all their glory!

I got the version with the MrSpeakers Alpha Dogs pads.

I don't have any real impressions for you guys at the moment since I've barely had these for a few hours. These sound amazing though! Easily one of the best, if not the best closed headphone I've heard, and it even competes with many open headphones as well.

Clamping force is a little high, it definitely clamps harder than the Paradox Slants that I have. On the other hand, I think they look much better on the head, since there's nothing jutting out from the side of your head making you look like an alien. I also have a huge head (Largest size setting!!!!), so YMMV. They feel lighter than the Paradox Slants too, so apart from the clamping force, they are really comfortable.

The sliders seem to also be a bit loose. I always have to readjust them whenever I take them off my head. Obviously the solution is to never let them leave my head right?

The Suji finish is amazing. I definitely don't regret getting this finish, but after seeing the solemn blue, I may be having some second thoughts.

So far, really easy to drive. I've been getting very good sound from just my Sansa Clip Zip and my Iphone 4s. Putting them through an amp like the O2 or Vali and the Anedio D2, it definitely opens up a lot more in all aspects.

If you are even considering these, so far, I'm very impressed. I could just have these as my only headphone and be completely satisfied.

Anyways, just thought I'd share, since it doesn't seem like we have too many impressions so far.

Thanks Luis! The wait was definitely worth it!
