EDIT:  That was a bit trite.  Yes I know he died before the Nazis took power but that doesn't distract from the fact he was a rabid anti-semite and was cited by Hitler countless times.  As I said, Wagner was an a-hole....a genius, but an a-hole none the less.

I know that he was a nationalist (as were a lot of germans at the time) but what does that have to do with anything?
