Well, all I’m saying is that styles at times can be cyclical? Meaning of course I’m just one listener, and I have had this album for a long time, and I thought it was OK, just OK. I have always held other Korn albums in higher regard, yet it sounds pretty good now? My opinion, only?
Don’t laugh, please don’t laugh any louder than I am....OK? I was way late to the Korn party. As at record stores (remember those) people would always ask me if I like Korn. I would always say no, because I was into King Diamond, and I didn’t (yet) understand what Korn was doing. Of course later in the mid 2000s Korn became one of my most favorite bands. My brothers wife now gives one of their members regular massages.....which is strange. And no I’m not going for autographs or anything.....as I’m way past that level of fandom. Still this album is maybe going to be my favorite, it has always been my brothers favorite? Yet it sounds new now? Go figure?
Nothing wrong with Korn, at least the "classic" albums. It's the same with a lot of music from around 2000, I can still listen to those albums now and then, although a lot of it is obviously nostalgia. Linkin Park, Slipknot, Korn, Limp Bizkit, All That Remains, Killwitch Engage to name a few...
Marthe started as a bedroom project by Marzia from Italy. This recent record is her first full length and it’s really good imo. Its a one women project and highly recommended for fans of Bathory
Saw an iteration of this band which has changed members for different albums based on ideas from the main guy (Gautier Serre). One of the most amazing shows I've ever seen.
