My top 20 without any albums ranking... but "Leipa - Reue" is the winner for 2023.

Loving the lists! I thought I did a pretty good job of staying on top of releases this year but since the end of year list drops I've added at least 30+ new-to-me albums. Wild! This will at least tide me over until 2024's release schedule starts ramping up. Usually a bit of a lull around the holidays / new year.

@WilliamBlake - Thanks for putting the Aara album back on my radar. Totally forgot about this one... it's excellent!!

Not very original but interesting. First album of 2024 that catches my ear.

Don’t laugh, please don’t laugh any louder than I am....OK? I was way late to the Korn party. As at record stores (remember those) people would always ask me if I like Korn. I would always say no, because I was into King Diamond, and I didn’t (yet) understand what Korn was doing. Of course later in the mid 2000s Korn became one of my most favorite bands. My brothers wife now gives one of their members regular massages.....which is strange. And no I’m not going for autographs or anything.....as I’m way past that level of fandom. Still this album is maybe going to be my favorite, it has always been my brothers favorite? Yet it sounds new now? Go figure?

I owned the first few albums back in the day, including this one. Nowadays I wouldn’t touch it with a ten foot pole.. :)
