For fans of Blood Incantation, Tomb Mold, etc. This one is a nasty slab of death metal.

I think I’m at the place of when Andy Gillion joining and 2012’s “......And Death Said Live” as my start off point. I like the rest forward. Just smoother slightly more generic, but better production values. They became more melodic after 2012? IMOThey are below for me. That album (The Unborn) is intense and has great guitar, but I’m not so sure I like the drums (samples) from the era? I only heard 50% of it, the first half. I see how someone would like it. Really it’s a slightly different band without Gillion playing. There are maybe more changes....didn’t look. But I’m really into the later stuff. The recent 4 albums? Also.........Gillion is once more gone!

They went 5 years between records, but 2019’s release continues to prove once more......they are one of the most overlooked and underrated bands in Black Metal. Sure they could be considered the Cradle Of Filth, second level; as the shared band members and a British sound.........different from the northern counterparts. Still to me they are better the C.O.F. especially if your not into Dani Filth. Here they have a new vocalist (Joe Stamps since 2015) but to me this album still sounds like them, only it’s very very well recorded. I can’t get over how good this is, especially after the second listening? Sarah Jezebel Deva adds a special atmosphere too!
Edit:
The first couple of albums really had a keyboard/vocal centric production. That was the sound then, but now everything in integrated with the tone of the guitar being amazing. Somehow you can hear everything, cymbals, drums and all?

Video wont play.Which band.I love blood incantation...........................................
It’s Intestinal Hex The Exalted Chambers of Abhorrence. Not as spacey as BI but I hear some similarities in the vocals and the atmospheric interludes. Lots of great riffage!Video wont play.Which band.I love blood incantation...........................................
