:flag_ua: Mortal Vision. Sounds like this could be a banger. The Singer sounds like Lemmy with a sore Throat  Album releases on October 29th:-

Looking at upcoming releases, some I would mention that you haven't already: BTBAM, Leprous, Wormwood, Jinjer, Thyrfing. These are in August. September: Iron Maiden, Hail Spirit Noir, Alien Weaponry, Brainstorm, Carcass, Rivers of Nihil. But still so many releases from recent months I haven't heard!

Ahh yes, I had forgotten about some of these! Really looking forward to Wormwood and Rivers of Nihil releases. I'll keep an eye out for the others too and add them to the list.

I'm slowly working my way through my 2021 backlog but I've got a long ways to go still...

The new Deafheaven sounds “not metal” top-forty. A little metal?

Really actually sounds like Keane with no piano, in softer parts?

Wolves in the Throne Room Primordial Arcana is excellent. Could very well be a top 10, 2021 release for me.

@Redcarmoose - Even though I do enjoy a fair amount of post-metal / shoegaze (Lantlos, Alcest, Mol, etc.), I've never really connected with Deafheaven. None of the singles released off of Infinite Granite did it for me. Will still give it a listen but I already suspect, based on the singles, it won't be for me.

BTBAM queued up next...

I'm in my second listen but I'm not really feeling it yet, don't know. Sounds good but it's not gripping me. 🤷‍♂️ I think a lack of memorable melodies. Or it needs more listens. Probably the latter.. :)

I’ve got 3 listens through now. Still really enjoying it. We’ll see if I continue to come back to it, though… that’s always the true test for me.
