Thanks a lot for sharing!

That seems like a "gold mine" for those of us who are into binaural recordings.

Fans of the "Starky Satera Virtual Haircut" will be delighted to "hear" that I've found a mirror for the MP3 files themselves so you can download it to share with friends. The original link shared with us led to a Putfile.com embedded media player.

(These Mirrors courtesy of R1CH):

Also these from R1CH:

http://r-1.ch/voce.mp3 (Whispers)

http://r-1.ch/phon.mp3 (Dryer)

http://r-1.ch/cereni-holophonic.mp3 (Matches)

Those links courtesy of Mexican Samuri at "The Something Awful Forums" where he started an extensive discussion thread all about the Virtual Haircut.

Enjoy!

Well, a couple of them are certainly very short!!

One thing I noticed about the videos is maybe useful to others who look to use their video recorder for its digital recorder capabilities - because the helicopter was kept in the center of the frame, it "broke" the effect of the fly-bys, since the sound also remained centered at all times. A stationary camera (not being panned) would have resulted in a more exciting audio rendition, but of course then we'd have to lose the video occasionally as the helicopter flew out of frame! So, it may take simply keeping mindful to pan such as to allow the subject to go nearly off-frame but not entirely, just to emphasize the stereo pan.

I have not listened to all of them yet, but certainly will do so! Many fun items in there!

yes, however the best one IMHO is 20051016d0.wmv - amazing binaural effect, I felt like getting into this helicopter

and while listening to this one 20040815a.mp3 I took off my headphones because I thought there are some birds nearby my window ( I got tricked)

Yes, all of these have been represented in post 1, but this is a nice alternative location to hear these, with the built-in player embeded in his blog. Thanks!
