Thinking about it for my 580's - keep me posted.

International shipping is no problem. Sadly the HE and HD version are different because of the plastic ring so it is 50 each. That means the HD version is coming along nicely but the HE needs much more attention. If you know anyone with an HE60, let them know this thread exists

I'll see how the HD pads change the HE60 sound later, but I don't think it will be representative for the final leather version as it is meant to replace the HE60 pleather. The quick test is HE60 pads (pleather) on HD650 to see what it could do.
I really hope the HE60 will sound the same but with the advantages of leather and I guess it's worth the $130 gamble to me as we won't find out before it's too late.
It will probably be monday before I get to it as I am not at home right now.

My HEV70 is behaving strangely (red warning light) so I've not been able to test HD pads on the HE60 yet.

That's too bad - I hope it gets better.

X2. It's a shame when your ESPs can't work, but doubly so when HeadphoneAddict is hoping to gain some clarity with your impressions (and I'm also interested before potentially making a commitment to some pads here for my HE60s

PXC 450 pads will not work with HD 650, HD 600 or HD 580. They will, however, work for HD 515, 555, 595, 380, PC 350 and PXC 350.

I hope this helps clarify.

FP updated.

Still 27 HD pads to go, 41 needed for HE.

I've received another amp for the HE60 so I'll try to fit in the HD650 pads to see what it does. Everything to make you happy, but I totally don't expect it to be an indication for the leather HE60 pads, because the HD650 pads are velours and the HE60 pads are already pleather.

My velours pads make the HE60 sound unnatural, a bit more bass but the mids and highs are changed, bit plasticy. Original pads are better.
