Large text font firmware for X1 & X3 2nd gen & X5 2nd gen

I haven't had the time to listen to FW2.0, but it appears that the EQ settings are restricted to flat and other presets. Is there a way to set the EQ off? Or is off misnamed flat?

I don't see a way to set it to "off".  Also, switching between flat/off and the other presets does not show a dB drop as it did previously.   Maybe others can confirm..

Edit: the text was changed from Off to Flat in the mod I was using

FLAT=OFF ( i just edit the string from OFF to FLAT), if you use the official FW2.0, it is named OFF
 
i just prefer it named FLAT rather than OFF

Yes, I am using yours. That would explain it. I didn't remember stock 2.0 stating flat. So it did say off.

One request arielp, since theme 3 was added back in, could it be put back in the original #3 position in the theme select menu and move the black/gold one to the end in the select menu?

If the colors in the theme select menu could be fixed that would be good too.

regarding the theme, thanks for the suggestion, i will do the theme # switching soon, probably tonight.. as now away rom computer ( why i did not think about this before )

That would be great thanks! I searched through and the only other thing I would change is to go back to the stock splash screen on startup. Personal preference on my part and obviously you feel different. Thanks again.

that's easy, just use the unpack tool, then replace the boot.png to you preference. then repack..
 
my release is obviously based on my preference, to me the inital boot screen look to cheap .. a colourful "welcome" screen, just like a typical cheap chinese DAP
 
on the next release, i planned to change the shutdown screen also, to the reverse of startup animation.

on the next release, i planned to change the shutdown screen also, to the reverse of startup animation. 

It's not their colourful start up screen that annoys me but their new tag line of "Born For Music & Happy", especially considering they had a perfectly acceptable one prior. If you're going to sell audio gear world-wide and want to be taken seriously, some basic checks of the English language would do the brand some justice.

Omg thank you for the white theme!!!
i wonder if you can replace the theme 4 or 5 with that special GOLD one. those themes are used lesser than the 1, 2 and 3 and the 6 you made.
wishing you could put them all there, the special gold and the white one. *replacing the 4 or 5
 
 
btw, the white theme you just created ROCKS!!!!
its easy on the eyes. its cool! 
just on opinion, the great combo for white will be blue/light gray to make it look cooler. (the highlighted color)
