Large text font firmware for X1 & X3 2nd gen & X5 2nd gen

The reason I ask for the 1.45beta is that others might have difficulty doing the modification and 1.44beta is useless because once the latest DAC USB drive is installed, 1.44beta won;t work with it. So 1.45beta also needs to be put out there.

Is the X5ii latest fw2.0 got already font size fixed ? For the X3ii, its better waiting for the next, final fw2.0 release then!

The 1.44beta and the 1.45beta are different in that the EQ did not work at all in the 1.44beta were it sort of works in the 1.45beta. Also, the 1.45beta uses the a much newer USB DAC driver (for Windows) that is signed. The search in both the 1.44beta and the 1.45 beta are broken when you try to search by track as it searches by filename and not the track tag.

Misread Apologies, it was the X1 1.61 beta. I take it that the FW1.6 for the X3ii doesn't have the search option?

1.6 for the X3II is based on the stable 1.4 firmware. So no, no search. Doesn't really matter though as the search is broken big time. But the 1.45beta does have replaygain and that seems to be working.

can the volume number still at small (default size) , but the rest is large? because when using the large version, the volume number position is not aligned.. looks cheap... but the large font on file selection, setting, etc. is very good

I really like the Large Font version of the beta firmware.. but i dont like the topbar font being too big.. ruins the placement...

so i made the edit for this,
- Using 1.45Beta
- Top Bar is Normal Size Fonts, same as default firmware size
- The Rest is Large Font.
- Make the English menu better (to me ), and fixed the uppercase, e.g. Play mode -> Play Mode, also make changes some menu text, Play Setting -> Option , System Setting -> Setting, and many text editted. (english only)

- Red Selection in Theme 3 (so selection more visible)

Another Updated Version (edit v3) for X3II
 
this time just a small change
 
- Gain icon change from "G=H" and "G=L" which look not match the theme, now change to "HIGH" and "LOW" with smaller size, now (to me) look more blend with the theme
- Boot Welcome Screen (i don't like colourful welcome logo , change it to fiio logo)
