@vodanhkhack i don't regrat Focal that i loved with desktop amp, but with daps... i need more time to burn in HP3 but i like it with Shanling M6 pro that need also burn-in.
I think i'll try HP3 with some dac/amp combo because i think could shine and sounds better with more power.
I don't know if HEritage dac amp would be perfect for me, i'd try 2-3 driver combo

(I had that ****ing siemens, i remeber looks amazing, maybe i have somewhere at home :D )

How Hart cable improve HP3 sound? Where can you buy it?
The only advantage you might get with a new cable is that you could go balanced, and even then that only helps if you need more power.

i dont think the hart cables added much to the sound, just very conveniant for me. fit my klipsch and my elears. detachable ends via mini 4 pin connector. i have a 4 pin xlr for use with my bryston amp and i have a 2.5mm balanced for use with my astell and kern 270mk2

I’m listening with Shanling M6 pro in SE mode (turbo gain) and I like very much this combo!
58/100 is loud enough to enjoy a very good headstage, dynamic and rich sound in terms of micro details and nuances.

Shanling in SE output with Turbo gain mode deliver 200mW, am I Crazy to say it is enough to enjoy this HP?

Why don't you use balanced output?

if you think it good enough, you should try the balanced output, recently went balanced with my astell and kern 270mk2 and my klipsch hp3, it is like a whole differnt beast. so much control on the bass now. i cant go back to single ended again

I think they are very easy to drive, HIBY R5 drive them very well also.
Shanling M6 Pro is charging battery 🔋 :)

Yes, they are easy to drive indeed. But you need a good source to take full potentials.

The balanced output of your DAP has much more power, dual DACs , dual amplification circuits ... That why the HP3 sounds better. To me, the balanced cable itself contributes arround 2% of the sound quality ....
