I watch closely HeadAmp CFA3, it can replace my Niimbus 5 Pro, it sound great but have minor flaws.

obviously only my subjective opinion but the CFA3 is far superior to the Nimbus which I used briefly....again just one mans opinion...It took me forever to get my CFA3 built and shipped etc and if it now is easy to get through headamp then it is an easy choice

CFA3 can drive Raal HP to thier full potential or at least VM1a level?

I would agree with that, particularly for the CA-1a. For me, though, the SR1a through the interface off the CFA3, when using Mitch's SR1b filters (the ones that eliminate the need for the compensation barrels) gets pretty darn close . . .

My understanding from reading over at head case is it’s more oriented towards speakers. It would be an interesting build and I’m curious about it. I’m always up for a project. I’m completely happy with my cfa3, though.

the great thing about the internet is every nitwit can post as if they are some sort of expert and then have tons of people quote them as a reason to either buy or not buy a product or support any individuals subjective opinion....it is both good and bad I guess...
