Selling my RAAL-requisite HSA-1b headphone amplifier. You likely know what this is if you’re looking at this ad. It will direct drive the RAAL-requisite SR1a/b with stunning precision—no interface box or compensation barrels needed. It will also drive any other hard-to-drive headphone, short of an e-stat, with complete finesse. It has SE RCA and balanced XLR inputs, ribbon headphone male XLR output, regular headphone XLR output, SE ¼” headphone output, and speaker outputs. It has a 24-step attenuator for precise channel matching.

I absolutely love this amp. But, I've been financially reckless over the last year with my audio spending. I now need the cash and can’t justify keeping the HSA-1b along with my other amps.

It has lived in my office in a high rise downtown, meaning a completely pet-, kid-, and smoke-free environment. It’s in excellent shape. There is a tiny nick on the back-most fin on the heatsink, identified with a red arrow in a picture below, which you probably wouldn’t notice if I didn’t point it out. I am the original owner, having purchased new from an authorized dealer in June of 2021 as part of a package with the SR1a. (You can’t have the SR1a, sorry. I’m keeping it!).

The HSA-1b comes with the RAAL adapter to connect hard-to-drive non-ribbon headphones to the ribbon output, stock power cable, and the original very high quality RAAL-requisite flight case for the amplifier and SR1a (SR1a not included). Ships in all its original packaging.
