fairly linear
elevated sub-bass
recessed mids
elevated top end
am I the only one who sees a contradiction here?
Fairly linear.am I the only one who sees a contradiction here?
For me, "warm" means bloom in the mid-bass and in the mids themselves. This is not what I hear on Rognir. The elevated sub-bass in the Rognir does not contribute to a warm profile given how well controlled it is and given there's little bleed into the mids.am I the only one who sees a contradiction here?

Do you have the latest revision of Rognir? The so-called bass mod version? What kind of ear cushions?personally wouldn't describe Rognir as "warm" especially in the mids region
No, I have the OG edition - the neutral version - with the Rognir dynamic (ECL-03?) pads. Maybe later versions have more warmth.Do you have the latest revision of Rognir? The so-called bass mod version? What kind of ear cushions?
I've said it before, this is the perfect tuning for me. I would change nothing. I understand Kennerton no longer makes this tuning as all versions now come stock bass mod. All the more reason to cherish the pair I have.
Seen it many times. It's a graph. I've commented on it before.

I don't understand the claim
recently watched a review of the GH50, admittedly it is a couple of years old.
the guy slated the headband is it was very microphonic.
i notice on Kennerton website that the GH50 now has a different headband, does this solve the issue?
