1. what is 'vo'?
2. the question needs to be asked correctly - by what criteria should headphones be compared? what exactly are you interested in? who is better - steve jobs or george washington?

I would say that Thekk are quite versatile, my score is about 7-8 out of 10. For example, Vali Neoteric I consider more versatile - 8 or even 9 out of 10.
Thekk does not feel very confident in metal genres, the mids are somewhat weak here. The guitars don't sound as driving and fat as I would like.
My personal opinion is that something has been changed in Thekk's tuning lately. I had a Thekk in 2019 and they are different from what I heard in a 2021 version. The old version sounded more lively, more beautiful, I wanted to listen to any genre in those headphones. But 2021 disappointed me rather, I didn't get the same experience. Maybe I'm wrong, because I compared the two versions from memory.
If you want something more versatile (9/10) and high quality than Thekk, then I would recommend waiting for the Kennerton HeartLand to start selling.
Might be a long shot but does anyone in here have a caldera to rognir planar comparison? Didn’t know if maybe someone was lucky enough to receive a caldera to try.
Very mach. Greatly!
When I replaced my Fiio K9 Pro (very good in sound) with a bunch of Singer SDA-6 and SA-1 (even more advanced in sound), the sound became much better.
Especially the density and transparency of the midrange frequencies have improved.
Can you guys recommend me some AMPs & DACs (bluetooth required) with a budget of around +- $400? I think i would definitely need to change amps in order to bring up the vocals and the pianos.
After listening to the Rognir last night, I must say I understand why they are a fan favorite. I started with the ELC-01 pads last night, but switched to the ELC-02 this morning. The touch of bass quantity is welcomed.

ECL-03mf is the best in my opinion. with it comes the fullest voice and the right body. and if the music is at such a high volume, there is an unconscious bass that will satisfy even every basshead.. it remains fast enough, does not puff or swim, and barely touches the bottom of the middle frequencies. it's interesting, because if the signal music doesn't have a percussive sub bass, it won't be there with the Rognir planar. so it's like it doesn't have its own character, it's simply transparent and shows how the music was mixed and mastered. but if you need deep heavy music at high volume it has great energy and punch, and with a jazz it disappears .. like a chameleon headphones, like it knows when to play .. I like mine…

I would like to hear the ELC-03. Mine are bass tuned and have the ELC-01 MF and the ELC-02. They recommend with the latest Rognir to use the ELC-01 MF. Anyway, it comes to preference. The nuances in the music certainly come through. It is a great listen.
The Bog Oak is really interesting when you read about it. I know I am late to the party on this but these are really great headphones. I will post some thoughts on Audio Rabbit Hole in a couple of days. I switched back to the ECL-01 MF and found I enjoy them more with my tuning. I have a feeling if I switched back to the 02 I would say the same.
