The information on both models is very sparse with only a few sentences about the HPs and a lot more about the carrying bags.
I just miss being able to test Kennertons but more so not being able to get that preponderance of evidence of all kinds of reviews, personal opinions, banter of and about their HPs.
LIterally almost a 50% increase in cost seems huge, not to mention the vinneta cost 30% less than the heartland! The new HPs have appeared on the English website:

Arakona's price is much higher than I have expected, and a 900$ difference between the two models, it's such a big difference it seems that the Vinneta is mid-tier and the Arakona is top-tier, and not as if they are two variations on the same drivers with only a different cup. Prices have been adjusted on several models, and the Rognir is surprisingly priced higher than Arakona.
I just noticed that the Arakona are very heavy:

It seems that now you are able to order from the website as it is.I think it's a mistake. As far as I know, they are creating a new official site, and the current site is unclear who maintains it.
if it costs much lower than its quality tier, it is a double win!!Despite the price difference, I can assure everyone the Vinneta sounds top tier. There’s nothing even remotely “mid tier” about it aside from not costing $4,000 - $6,000
I’m not sure but maybe you’re right. I recall when ordering the Vinneta that the price difference between Arkona and Vinneta wasn’t huge. I recall thinking Vinneta might launch at $3200 and Arkona maybe $3600 respectively. I was quite surprised to see Vinneta pop up at $2400 and Arkona over $3000 when it did.I think it's a mistake. If anyone here is looking to get the Vinneta, this is the time, before they fix the price, haha.I’m not sure but maybe you’re right. This looks very similar to what I saw in a write up on ASR. I use some of these points too, but a stronger bass line for some of the classic rock that I like. I am using the stock pads, though. The funny thing is that I arrived at my EQ by trial and error, and then found striking similarities on the ASR post, which is written as if he did the same thing. Rognir is indeed the most similar to a speaker experience that I've found so far. I look forward to trying Vinneta or Arkona soon.Below is the EQ I use for the Rognir Planar with the ECL-03 pads, in case anyone is interested in trying it. Headroom/pre-amp of -7 db.
