have not tried bending them, no.
at first i was reluctant as was not sure if i would be keeping them.
now i am reluctant because i can be a tad "heavy handed".
the comment you make about the lack of micrphonics on the GH is very interesting, the Magni (mine at least) is awful when touched.
as i dont tend to move around that much with them on, i will live with it.

I had a Gjallarhorn GH50 JM Edition and it did have some minor microphonics from the headband, but nothing compared to the microphonics of its otherwise well-built stock cable. I used to joke that I could tap out a bass rhythm on bass-shy recordings with the stock cable. Going to a Synergistic Research Foundation headphone cable completely cured the problem.

As long as you do it slowly and carefully don't force it you should be fine. It took a few attempts and around 45 minutes to get mine good enough 😂

i would argue that is macrophonics, not microphonics. tap on your best noise isolated IEM and see if it has "microphonics".

edit: oh gosh, I quoted the wrong guy. Sorry, the one above you.

edit 2 but also you. If you create a tension in any cable - you feel bass.

now i know why
and I really like this headband, for me it's very comfortable and lightweight.

You can increase the pressure by simply twisting the headband with your hands to make it tighter. like wringing out laundry after washing. don't worry, you won't break the headband in this way

I did this as well as I bent the metal frame in a small amount very slowly and carefully.

are the headband covers seen on the higher end models available to purchase separately?
cant find them anywhere
have now emailed Kennerton regarding this.
surprised they are seemingly not available.
need to do something to reduce the terrible microphonics on my Magni headband.

Yes, they can be. And as far as I know, that’s what Kennerton did later on themselves. I can’t advise what’s the procedure as I’ve never done it myself, but I also feel fortunate to have the neutral version with the ECL-03 pads, which for me is the perfect combo, so I’m not motivated to make any change at this point.

Nowhere, I have the specs too. Will be sold on August it seems. A pre-order is starting locally here.
