Nice photos but nothing really new brought to the thread.

Oh, just ask !

Driver of the new Magni versus driver of the Gjallarhorn JM Edition (modified)

(New) Magni

Quote Ivan (from Kennerton) : To tell you shortly, it is not a new Magni, the driver is indeed the same as in Magni for now, and that is the only of their similarities. The main feature of this model is that it has an embedded horn, which is actually carved of wood and is a part of the cup itself (I specified on the photo attached).

Driver of the new Magni

The design of the cup differs from Magni very much with different chamber and horn itself, which affect sound a lot. Their bass is very different from Magni's, the bass is much deeper, but due to the cups, it is not overloaded. Magni are much much more neutral.

Le Gjallarhorn

The current Gjallarhorns GH50 page https://kennerton.com/shop/gjallarhorn-gh-50/ Retail price is 1080 EUR, now with a huge discount of 25% for first 10 pcs, as you understand first 10 were already sold, I think the current price will be for a month or so.
There will be at least one another version with another driver, all I know at this point that the diameter of the driver will be different. The design of the cup takes a lot of time, it took 2 months to make current design by constant trial and error.

Yes it is totally separate and doesn’t cross talk the frequencies other than bass band
One port is all I use BUT once you remove and access port on one side you want to do same on other for maximum customization if you want even more bass
What’s there now is fabric
I cut the fabric so I made plugs with it by rolling it to stuff port

I play alternative industrial rock bands such as Ministry, Skinny Puppy all the time with my modded Ghorn- and love it. The adjustable bass ports in the mod make it a truly addicting sound like being among the very best speakers with satisfying deep deep bass

Awesome another skinny puppy and ministry fan 😁

Awesome another skinny puppy and ministry fan 😁
Seen them both live a year or so ago
So awesome
I like industrial music a lot but also regular alternative old and new but I have moods where country, blues, EDM, rap and rock satisfy
My playlist on Spotify has over 7,000 songs of Favorites And now I’m trying to accomplish the arduous task of replicating it on amazon HD :frowning2: they should have a transfer file list button

I made a video review about the LSA HP-1. They are basically a sub licensed type of Kennerton Headphone (Kennerton makes them officially, and offers full support for them), but they are sold by Underwood HIFI in USA, which offers a HUGE price reduction compared to most Kennerton models. The LSA HP-1 also has a much better comfort than Thror and most kennerton models, having gone for a lighter build and a more comfy fit. More in the full video review :)

Hi all, again.

About the amazing Kennerton Gjallarhorn, here are the four current (or upcoming) versions available.

Good morning all.
And in particular (for what follows) for French speakers.

What you can read on the French forum about the new Kennerton Magni headphones and the headphones (stock and Custom) of the Gjallarhorn "family", two great closed-back headphones with high-tech drivers using a mylar/graphene composite membrane, and now a horn (more developed on the Gjallarhorn model).

very informative and excellent comparisons made Dob George- thank you- always enjoy your fun yet analytical videos and views. I have to try a LSA HP1 - just have to move around some cash! lol
