Here are a few links for you guys to enjoy.

These products look boss to say the least. There are also a few earphones, cables, and even amps

MAGISTER

The spec sheet and information in the pdf for the headphones look great, what do you guys think?
Could you add the Wodan to the thread title since it is the newest Kennerton - thank you! :) cheers!

Hi bowei006

Kennerton products are evolving very fast, with the arrival of a new planar (open) headphones, the Kennerton Wodan : https://www.head-fi.org/threads/ken...hror-discussion.732814/page-220#post-15829277

Can you change the title of this generalist thread (again) by the following one ?

Kennerton ODIN, MAGISTER, VALI, Magni, Gjallarhorn GH 50, Thridi, Wodan, Thekk, and Thror Discussion

Thank you in advance. "
:)

EDIT: We have been heard!

Many thanks to @bowei006, the initiator of this excellent thread! :)

I have laid off from my job and must sell my two month old LSA HP-1 headphones. I purchased them new from Underwood Hi Fi and they are in pristine condition. Only posting this to let people know they are listed on USAudiomart. I have dozens of transactions on USAudiomart and Audiogon with perfect feedback.

I believe that the M12S is a closed back headphone? Still would be interesting to see how it holds up though :)
I had to look around a bit for the info but you're correct. Originally they were semi-open but the latest revision is closed back evidently. I guess the grill is just there for fashion, but the "M" design does look nice. Ivan at Fischer Audio let me know there were currently out of purple heart so I might have to wait while they replenish before I can post anything. Currently the M12S are no longer on the site for some reason... maybe they have to figure out their inventory.

Hi.

The M12s (2020) ("s" for Studio) are indeed no longer on the Kennerton web site, but they are on the Russian Fischer Audio web site, with all its (latest) specs. This is the top of the range from Fischer Audio.

Have some plans to try Thekk next week and to give a feedback on a Thror vs Thekk vs Odin

Hi Pavel ! :)

I am looking forward to your comparison of the Kennerton Thekk versus the Thror (and the Odin), especially on the Metal Symphonic music genre (like the one represented by the finnish metal symphonic band "Nightwish", from North Karelia .... where beautiful Karelian birch trees grow!:)).

So Thekk : what is it worth for this kind of music ?

Hey there,
I am interessted in buying a new set of cans. So the drooling review on headphone Guru made me almost pull the trigger on the LSA HP 1 Ultra. Is there any updated review for them from an owner?
Also following this Thread a bit made me curious about the G-Horn or the LSA HP 2 Ultra. I mostly listen to Rock ...70s rock , still a lot Punk and a bit Metall.
Is there a consens weather the GHorn or the HP2 is the better can for Rock an bass heavy music in general? Also I could not find info on the termination for the cable on the can side fir both GHorn and HP2...is it micro jack (2.5mm)?

Cheers

Hi.

The LSA HP-1 planar headphones is roughly based on the orthodynamic (planar) driver of the Kennerton Odin 2019 (and the Wodan) (we could call it the Odin mk4) and the wooden cups of the Kennerton Thekk, but with a slightly different design..
It's a kind of "ThekkOdin mk4", so to speak!

Otherwise, the Magni and the Gjallarhorn use a 6.35 mm jack cable on one side and 3.5 mm on the other, like this one; the same is probably true for the LSA HP-2 and 3 closed back electrodynamic headphones (derived from the Magni and the Gjallarhorn).

Hello everyone.

A little report in the french forum about the Magneto-planar "ThekkOdin mk4" headphones aka LSA HP-1.

Obviously a great planar headphones, perfectly in the vein of the last planar productions made by Kennerton. :)

Hi Pavel.

Thank you very much, Pavel, for updating the table on headphones suitable for listening to different genres of Metal music.:)

I see that Thekk also has its place next to its little brother (the Odin mk2) and its big brother (the Thror) for listening to different kinds of Metal music.

It's a good thing, to be (or have been) the owner of these three Kennerton planar headphones. (Nb: I currently only own the Thekk and the Thror).

Tonight I'm going to listen to the different live gigs of Nightwish (Finnish Metal Symphonic band) with the Thror and Thekk plugged on the two headphone outputs of my Viva 2A3 amp. I don't think I will be disappointed by these headphones (and the music played). :)
