While we wait for more information from Aumkar, I was able to snatch this from the official Kaldas Research Instagram! Exhibiting at Fujiya Avic Headphone Fest is a huge step forward. I would love to see the INOX or Aumkar's other creations in the Japanese market. If he can get the INOX to the physical Fujiya Avic or E-Earphone stores, it's game over. There are so many audio enthusiasts in Japan, and both of these stores are tourist attractions. Above all, giving people the opportunity to experience the INOX is what will benefit it the most.

Following Aumkar's journey has been... I don't even know the right word to describe it. It's fascinating to see him grow his business at such pace. The INOX is a breakthrough in this industry, and I hope people are able to recognize that. This headphone is built to elite standards. Such tolerances are seen in the best of the best cars and watches—the two industries Aumkar has a passion for. What makes me the happiest is seeing companies that focus on R&D. I always saw Aumkar as someone who cooks his creations with his team in the laboratory, and that's actually pretty close to the truth. It's beautiful to see boundaries being pushed, because that's what actually moves the industry forward.

2025! We will get to witness this greatness for ourselves!

Thank you for your kind words, Voja! I'm just doing my job.
A few things have changed in the technical specs since this sheet was published.

1) D-S Gap has a TU to 0.56mm from 0.53mm
2) The Headband harp is now Grade 5 Titanium for all units.

BREAKING NEWS
Just found out from Kaldas Research Instagram post that an open-back flagship electrostatic headphone is to be released soon! It bears the name "Olympia", and will be priced at $999.

I went back to the photos Aumkar posted when visiting @chinsettawong, and I can confirm that the Olympia is also present there! This means Aumkar got feedback from him before ever announcing the Olympia. If you know who @chinsettawong is, you know what this means.

It's great to see similarities between the Olympia and the INOX (upcoming closed-back electrostatic, $1799) :sunglasses: What a year this is going to be for the estat community. WOW.

P.S. Aumkar via Instagram:
The Olympia will make it's public debut in Tokyo 🇯🇵 next month, on the 26th of April at the Fujiya-Avic Spring Headphone Festival.

More details to follow in due course. We are extremely excited for this launch as we believe at this price point, the Olympia is in a class of it's own.

Can't wait to hear the final INOX and the new Olympia.
The new designs are very mature with a great subtle styling.
The headband engineering is truly excellent.

So those who have heard both, which one has a better low end response?

Olympia will have a larger in perception bass response. It is razor flat extension to 30Hz, plus the tuning is different to the INOX which is a Harman compliant tuning. This is more of a RR1 on steroids and due to the upper regions not following HT, the perception of the bass is larger and better. It's a remarkably smooth and enjoyable presentation. Graphs and further details will follow in due course as we are preparing for Fujiya-Avic and customer units as well.

PS : The tuning Mr. Wachara heard didn't have the bass slam we now have.
