burn in is apparently very subjective, what is not, in my opinion and for whatever reason, is the continuing "development" and sonic quality of the K701.
I enjoy them more each day and look back at their predecessors (Grado SR225
and Senn HD 595) and notice the huge qualitative differences more each day also. Except for hard rock and the Grados. That can never be disputed.
