has anyone used the hifiman he adapter to connect their k1000s to speakers, is it any good ? or should i just use the wires that came with the k1000

Why do you need adapter for speakers? Dont you have extension cable? The best is to connect them directly with their own wire, without anything extra in between, even more, to rewire them with better quality cable and use directly from speaker outputs.

ive noticed that the right and left drivers on my k1000 arnt symmetrical, its as if both are mounted with left drivers , is this normal ?

Does this mean one cable points to the front and the other one to the rear :confused_face_2:? If so, then no, that doesn't sound normal. Can you send a pic?

both cables point out the front , but if i look through the metal grate , i see inside the green pcb one is towards the front one towards the rear

If you are referring to the green whateveritmightbe at the bottom / inside of each driver, then it's the same in mine, so that seems normal...

call me bat**** insane crazy all you want but i think my pair of k1000s sound perfectly fine out of my zero dac alone. i was thinking about building a beta 22 but i dont think i care anymore. maybe ill change my mind who knows...

nvm they sound better out of a vintage receiver i found at the salvation army.

I listened to them in Poland (Krakow 31234) in its my friend wiring Entreq konstantin and atlantis (http://www.entreq.com/) . With the latter it was very very good. Friend leads http://hifiphilosophy.com/recenzje/english-versions/ own website which publishes various reviews-can someone be useful such information would recommend. I would like to buy a handset at a price of about 450-500 euro in good condition but I can not find a good opportunity.

German ebay (ebay.de) usually has them for $950-$1000 which is the cheapest I've seen them go for now. You might find a pair in the for sale section here and USA ebay between $950-$1750. You would be extremely lucky to find a working pair in decent condition for around $700.
