Is FX1100/1200 is worth 130usd for used in very good condition ?
I am HD600/650 midrange lover.
Don't care much for isolation. I want good space on soundstage similiar to open back headphones.

is this the same as the FX1100 stock cable?

If so, how would you rate it? I'm considering purchasing it for my Sony XBA-N3AP. I'm looking for something light, without microphonics, that can be worn straight down. I hate the N3AP stock cable, microphonics are horrible, and the remote pulls on the IEMs.

I would not actually purchase the stock cables of the Fx1100 as they are very prone to breaking... I actually had to buy the FX1100 twice and both times the stock cables broke. I would suggest you purchase aftermarket pure copper cables for bass or silver cables for treble, but pure copper cables are better for bass.

2nd hand should be no problem. As long as they haven't been abused ie. Used as exercise headphones or gone in the washer etc. My pair of FX1200 is still my favourite IEM and works well to date. The only annoyance was that a fray had developed on the original braided cable sheath and I have since replaced the stock cables with a replacement after some modifications to some third party MMCX cables.

Not really mentioned in that comparison is that you should probably expect a little less bass quantity with the FW01 simply because of the smaller housing. Also, I don't have any links but I know some people out there think the FX1100 is pinnacle of the woodies (excluding the FW10000 that no one has) but they are probably pretty hard to find new, so the FW01 should likely be a worthy replacement.

Not true, we are certainly more than 15.

PS: Driver wise, I think the FW1500 is probably the best woodie apart from the 10K.

I have no idea what this means or is referencing: " Not true, we are certainly more than 15."

Regardless, the FW1500 hadn't been released (at least no in the U.S.) when I wrote that comment.

I underlined it on your post: "(excluding the FW10000 that no one has)"

Didn't notice the date, sorry.

Oh I got it, lol. 15 is still a pretty small club! I'm sure they're incredible.

Yes, it's one of those things I will never part with.
