bMac is from Bengkel Macro. It is $115 usd + shipping, so should be a little over 100 euro. I use one every day and can confirm they make SZ rattle.

The bMac is not in stock on the official site. Also when i have to purchase something extra-ue i have to pay 22% of tax.
The other amp i can find on amazon are Pro-Ject Head Box S for 119€, bravo audio ocean and v3 for 85/90€, little dot I for 125€ and Topping but i dont really know how they are.

I have read a lot about topping, never read a bad thing about it, i believe my man Bob A of SD has one and loves it.

I have had an older little dot model many years ago and thought it to be just ok, haven't heard any recent ones.

Lastly i just heard Bengkel is preparing a new version of bMac so i think they might remain sold out until the new one is listed for sale.

Maybe consider a cayin c5 even though you dont need battery, it is that good.

On a slightly unrelated note, if anyone has lightly used or unused SZ1000/SZ2000 stock pads, i would be interested in buying someone's .They are not so bad on certain other headphones. as they are on the 1000/2000's themselves.

Remember folks, if you use your portable amp as a desktop amp such as I do, keep it plugged into a clean wall charger, not the USB port of your computer. Your computer believe it or not does not produce clean power through the USB ports, and you will hear an interference through the line when plugged into your amp. You can solve this by getting something like this...

By the time I replace my pads, they will be well used, I like to get my money out of stuff, otherwise if I replace right away, I will just feel like I am throwing money around to waste. BTW, how much more comfortable would you say them HM5 pads are on your SZ cans?

Plenty of people like the HM5 pads but I don't. 55x pads all day for me. 55x pads are the truth.

Not sure what new SZ owners should do for pads if the 55X is discontinued...

Easy thing for me, I still love the HM5 pads, and they are plentiful.

Pray to the Gods for 55X pads and a loyal girlfriend perhaps?

I just did a search on both Amazon and Ebay, looks like I can't find the replacement pads, so if you really wanted them pads, you have to pay at least 40+ bucks for the headphones themselves, just to releave them of their divine pads!

Its too bad that JVC discontinued the HAM55X headphone, as they were popular among gamers, and its easy to understand why, they had style, they had removable cables, and boasted 50mm drivers. Not quite JVC SZ level of bass no, but for most gamers, more then enough, they were well received, hence why I've recommended them to gamers who didn't want to spend 100 dollars on a headphone. Does JVC have a new line of headphones coming out do you know? Cause it seems like to me that JVC has been making some piss poor marketing decisions lately that might be hurting them in the long run. I fear that the SZ line will become discontinued as well soon enough. I hope the price keeps falling on them 2000's, just might have to pick those suckers up if they get down to the 100 dollar level or less.

Glad I got the pads from you before these were all gone

I can say that it's a world's difference in comfort from stock to the 55x's pads.
