Unless the e12 got a better battery that leaves it out.
The Cayin battery is a couple hours longer at least when listening at high gain and bass switch on.
Not sure of others. And the sub bass is coming through a Kelton chamber so it needs eq and amp as you know. Maybe someone else can offer an alternative amp for ya. Good luck

Sound not affected much, slightly more soundtage, much more comfort. Havent tried 55x pads yet
You could try the Ray Samuels amps and see how it works

You pretty much have to import it from Japan. That's about average price, though free shipping is nice. (But look how long it would take. I'd rather buy from an Amazon seller with faster shipping.)

Ah I see. Unfortunately the cheapest ones on amazon UK are £252.87, £100 more than eBay.

You could try using Amazon USA, though I'm not sure of the complications related to that.

Just had a look, they're about the same price and same delivery times. Seems like 2-3 weeks is standard as they're all imported from Japan.
Which amp would be best for these? FiiO e12 or Cayin c5? Or another?

What? 252 GBP is about 389 USD. You can get it for around 230 USD from Amazon USA. And a few sellers have shorter delivery times. You need to browse through them.
No idea what would be the best. I use a desktop amp, so I'm not the person to ask about portable amps.

They were 252 GBP on Amazon UK.
I can get them from eBay UK for $231 USD (150GBP), and they're about the same price on Amazon US. However when I try purchasing from Amazon US it says "Sorry, this item can't be shipped to your selected address". So it looks like they only ship within the US.
