See if you can find the Samson SR850 on eBay for $40. Just buy that.

Op, please give us more details on what are you looking for on the headphones you want? portability? strong bass? musical tastes?

OK I already have an iPod Classic plugged to a FiiO E7.
I listen to a lot of Psyc rock and progressive and Dubstep.
Hence, I basically want a good pair of headphones that are crystal clear (the mids and the highs) but dont cut down the low vibrations and thump. And also the bass shouldn't over power the other frequencies and shouldnt sound Synthetic ( wasnt too pleased with mu HD 408s)

I think he wants to say the sound quality you expect (from your own description) will cost $200 and not $50.

Back to your Q, i cannot know how JVC sounds, but i do recommend HD 448 as easily the best cheap headphone Sennheiser ever made.
