Hi chaps,
 
ExpatInJapan suggested doing a meet which sounds like a great idea, and initially was proposed to meet at his place. However, conversing with Shigzeo, what are ppl's thoughts on meeting at Ocharaku's Tea Shop instead? That way we can demo the Sui, Kaede, Kuro, and Donburi altogether in a peaceful environment sipping tea.
 
Anyone has any thoughts of preferences and dates/times?

I thought it would be cool to do it to coincide with the next meet, but I'm guessing you are thinking of sooner than that.

I'm personally quite open on whenever actually. Just depends on ppl's availability. Next month we'll probably have tsuyu which will probably hamper everyone's moods to come out in the rain. Before it would be nice as it's still cool, after could get warm.

Until a date is set, I can't commit of course but happy to meet up. Saturdays are my preference.

Sounds like fun! I'll be out of town for the next two weeks though, so it would need to be a bit later. The first day I could make it is June 8th. Busy June 9th, then totally open after that until mid/end of July.

Would love to join! Am in France during first half of July, rest needs to be arranged with wife as she works on some week ends.

The summer portable gear festival is on July 15 (right in the middle of my trip), fall festival is 2 days , oct. 26&27.

I will update the spreadsheet, I agree with Sean it's nicer before the rainy and hot'n'sticky seasons

You wrote Fujiya fall festival is on the 15th July, but the google doc has it July 7th.
