Does it take awhile for your ears to 'break-in' to CIEMs? My ears get pretty sore after an hour or so.

Quick questions - Does the Roxanne has more treble than Shure 846 (white filter)?

Sounds like you might have a poor fit. Make a note of the "hot spots" where the shell is making your ears sore. You can send it back within 30 days for a re-fit (and, yes, more waiting, but it's worth it to have a good fit).

From my demo time with universal Roxanne and 846 with white filter, I do believed that Roxy has more treble.
The 846 with white filter still sounds dark and roll-off to my liking.
I can't comment on ciem Roxy as haven't received them, just like many of us here
So how is that possible to try and listen to CIEM when the body has been specifically customized ?

You'll get use to it. I have the same experience with JH16 for the 1st full week on my right ear. I thought it's a fit issue. But the soreness was completely gone after 1 week. I have the Roxanne for almost 2 weeks now and I never get the same sore feeling no matter how long I have them in my ear.

I did, search a few pages back.
