I got the JH16 when deciding between the two. I love them but, the bass is a little much sometimes. There is a bit of warmth to it that annoys me some

I listen to mainly post-rock/ambient/metal, with a bit of piano work too. Need shimmering highs, realistic and energetic drums/guitar and deep, fast and punchy/tight bass, as long as it doesn't bleed into other frequencies. Any consensus which is better for me?

This is great news for me, thank you. I'm getting fitted for customs next week, i'll hold out on actually buying them until black friday. Id also have longer to choose my IEMs. how do UEs stack up to JH 16/13's? price is irrelevant between models.

Some of you have mentioned this, but for others, can the bass be a little too much sometimes or too warm? I'll be playing this out of the high-end Android phones, but most likely without a portable amp.
